Description:

If you love games that are path drawing, such as air control or angry birds, there is a new app in town that is a ton of fun.  The app is called Jaws, and it plays off of the famous Jaws movie that of course, incorporates great white sharks.  The official game is based off of the terrifying summer blockbuster that started the shark fear world wide. Amity island has everything, clear skies, gentle surf, warm water, and people flock to it from all around.  The place is also a perfect feeding ground for sharks.  As the local police chief Martin Brody from the movie, it is your job to keep the waters of the island safe.  Unfortunately, there is a huge and deadly shark in the area lurking around with a huge appetite for human flesh. You are to respond to the numerous distress calls around the island and rescue swimmers before they become the next meal for this man eating shark.

The game is really a lot of fun as it plays off the movie themes and really gives you a new way to experience jaws in a new way.  If you like games that keep you on edge and will help you to get a lot of enjoyment out of them, you need this game!

Deer Hunter African Safari iPhone App Review

Description:

We are all familiar with the deer hunter franchise.  The new Deer Hunter African Safari takes us to a new place where we can shoot different types of animals and take down small to large game.  This game looks great on the iphone 4 and has great graphics as the game takes us to the depths of Africa and shows us the wildlife that is available there.  There are amazing big game animals such as zebra, buffalo, kudu, elephants, lions, and more.  You can experience african scenery as you progress from a rookie to a master hunter, which unlocks new hunts and allows you to purchase different equipment which gives you new weapons and skills.  There is a quickplay modes in which you can participate in lightning and bonus rounds to really spice things up.

The game is based off of the multi platform best selling hunting game from Atari.  The deer hunter african safari series is about as real is it gets when it comes to video game hunting.  If you love hunting and if you love video games, this is a great solution to keep you entertained for hours as you try and take down the big game that is out there.

Coastal Super-Combat iPhone App Review

Description:

The coast is under attack and it is up to you to defend it! The new Coastal Super-combat app for the iphone is a fun app that keeps you on your toes throughout the whole game.  This game is very professionally done as the graphics are amazingly polished and you can tell that the developers spent a ton of time getting this game perfect.  The game allows you to upgrade your weapons and fortify your defenses to keep the people of the tiny island you are protecting safe.  The game is very similar to a tower defense game, but just so much more fun!  The animated characters and the way that you take out the enemies provide a lot of entertainment and long hours of play time.

There are tons of different types of guns that you can use to get your point across such as: M1, M16, Aug552, Mp5, M82a1, M4a1, M1917, Rpg-7, GAU-147, M320.  These guns all react differently and do different types of damage to the enemy, so give them all a try to see which one is your favorite to dish out the maximum amount of pain.  The game has a sophisticated armory with weapon sales, base upgrades and ammo stocking.

If you like warfare games that are fun, cartoony, and just look plain awesome, this game is for you!  The develops took their time with this one and it is definitely worth the 99 cents you will pay for it.  If you need a good game to keep you up to date on the world of fun, this game is for you as it is addicting and fun to play.

Description:

The old arcade games of the 80’s are unforgettable as the Nintendo NES was in full swing.  Classic games like Contra and other side scroller games still bring many hardcore gamers hours of enjoyment to experience.  Well now there is an 80’s arcade game that has come to the iphone for people to play all over again.  The app is called r type, and it is 100% true to the old arcade game which is super exciting.  Too often newer versions of arcade games add all kinds of fluff that kill the original experience that people remember having when they played the original.  Well you won’t have to worry about this with this game as the game is a challenging shoot em up side scroller game.

You can blast off and strike the evil Bydo empire!  You pilot your futuristic figher, the r-9 arrowhead and attack wave after wave of Bydo baddies in an old school shooter style.  This game is the same as the old one as it keeps the original look and feel of the old one to bring back all of the nostalgic feelings you will feel.  There are over 8 levels with 3 different control options which allow you to tilt, touch, and virtual d pad to play in two difficulty levels.  You can upgrade your plaer with new weapons, power-ups, and attachments.  You can defeat all 8 unique bosses in awesome battles as well which will keep you coming back for more.

• This game stays true to the original 80’s classic arcade game which is great as the reboots seem to always leave things out
