Heat app Review

Description:

Using heat to create pictures is one of those genius ideas that has been mastered by the Heat Android app.  This game provides endless hours of entertainment as it creates an assortment of colors every time you press down on the screen.  You can tap the screen, drag your fingers across, and even shake it to create some fun and interesting pictures.  This Android app allows you to simulate this heat reaction in a variety of different modes.  You can turn on the pressure sensitive mode, or the tunable parameters mode in order to enhance your color screens and save the screenshots you have taken of your little masterpieces.

The internal memory of this app is great because you can save your pictures and share them with your friends and family through email.  You can also choose between 9 different color schemes, that each have a unique color spectrum.  It renders the pictures quickly, and is a fun way to waste a few minutes here and there.  It is also a great app for your kids to play with to keep them busy for a little while.  Kids love colors, and they will enjoy the ability to drag their fingers on the screen and create all kinds of pictures.

Features:

  • 9 different color schemes to choose from to keep things interesting and fun
  • A few different modes that you can access including the Tunable Parameters and the Pressure Sensitive mode
  • Has the ability to save the pictures you create straight onto the SD card so you can look at them later and share them with friends and family
  • Dissolving colors that are extremely unique

Conclusion:

While this app may not have a lot to keep you interested for long periods of time, it definitely has its perks.  It simulates the heat from your fingers to create an array of dissolving colors.  The concept of the app is very interesting, and is pretty cool to look at too.  This app is also great for anybody that has kids.  Put the app on, give it to your kid, and have them stay busy for hours and hours.  Try changing up the color schemes to keep it fresh.   While I wouldn’t pay a lot of money for this app, a dollar seems to be a fair price to have a cool little concept like this on your Android.

Voted 3.1 out of 5 stars by Android app users and currently runs for around $0.99.
