The app tracks SIM changes, locks, backups, wipes, and restores data on your phone.  You can also find you r lost phone via a secure website as the site will show you the exact GPS location of your lost phone.  The app can offer you remote fuctions once you have already lost the phone such as being able to lock, locate, and wipe the phones sensitive data.  You can also remotely backup your contacts, SMS, and call logs as well as protect your media uploads and uninstall protection on the phone.  The only con to this app that we can see at this time is that it costs $19.90 a year.

This app is by far the best android security app we have seen hit the shelves as it has so much to offer the user.  If you are the type of person that loses their phone alot or that has extremely sensitive information on your phone, this app is definitely for you as you can rest with ease knowing that you phone is safe as well as the information on it.

This app essentially tells your friends or youself via iTag’s website where you phone it.  The app is great because it sends the exact GPS location of your phone so you could find it on a park bench or in a vehicle.  This is great because the app can also send the location to friends that are near you lost phone so they can go get it and save you the embarrassing trip.

There are a few bugs with this app as the app force closes alot.  The app also seems to drain your battery fairly quickly and that can be very annoying.  The pros outweigh the cons as you can find your phone if it is stolen or lost.  This saving of your phone can save you a lot of money in the long run and can really help you out.  The ability to lock the keys remotely is really cool so you can stop a user from using your phone and wasting your minutes.  you can also send your friends the location of the phone so they can help you get it if they are nearby.

Overall this is a very useful app with a very useful application.  Finding your lost phone has never been easier and if you forget things, get this app so you can find the phone again!

Chess for Android features: Fischer random chess, 50 puzzles, 2000 practice positions, set up the board, and use as a chess board.  You can easily save and edit games with this app and navigate through your history to analyze the previous games you have played.  You can use the integrated database to import and export games via your e-mail or clipboard.  The interface s touchscreen based and very easy to use.  The also really nice thing about his app is that there are no ads that show and the professional version offers extra levels, 500 puzzles, larger opening database, unlimited saving of games, and you can go right tot he developers website for support and questions to be answered.

As you can see, this app made by jwtc is a classic board game that anyone can enjoy.  There are several different difficulty levels and the game play is customizable within the app.  Another very cool feature that we found ourselves using all the time was the play by play step through mode in which the phone will show you what moves to take to get out of a sticky situation.  This training part of the app is great for when you play with your friends and get in hard situations in which you normally wouldn’t know what to do.

The game play is very simple as you pick the piece you want to move and the app shows you where you can move the piece according to the movement rules of each chess piece.  This game is very challenging and is a great way to keep you interested and able to pass the time while keeping you mentally awake and alert.  If you like chess, you should really give this app a try.

NewsRoom RSS News Android App Review

Description:

For those of you who are news junkies out there, there is something that that has been made for Android that will be able to keep you up to date with all of your local, national, and global news. The app is called NewsRoom RSS and is one of the fastest and easiest ways to stay in touch with the web on the go.  You can find your favorite news quickly with the built in search.  NewsRoom stays up to date without affecting your battery life, and this alone is one of the neatest things about this app.

The user interface is extremely easy to use and has a very nice intuitive icon look.  You simply set up the feeds you want to show up, or you can search and add new feeds that you haven’t thought about before. You can quickly skim article summaries and use what the app calls a swiping interface to go from summary to summary.  Once you find a summary that you like, you can view the entire article with the tap of your finger.  The server that runs this app does all the work for you to save battery life and optimizes data transmissions that com to your Android phone.

The only con that  we can see with this app is that you can’t sync it with Google Reader, but that’s minuscule to the things the app can do.  If you love news, and check feeds all day on the net, then this is definitely the app for you.  Everyone loves having the ability to check news right out of the gate when they are mobile.  The phone app allows you to be in the loop in the car, at an appointment, or when you have a leisure moment to relax.

UMusic Android App Review

Description:

Do you love music and like apps like Pandora and grooveshark?  Well if you wnat to bring even more music technology to your Android phone, you need the new UMusic Android App.  This app allows you to have free unlimited access to millions of songs in many different languages.  It is able to pull streaming songs from youtube and plays just the audio to save you some internet bandwidth.  This also helps saver your battery life to just play the music instead of streaming the videos as well.  UMusic also allows you play music on the background and even allows you to play the music with your screen turned off.

Some of the pros to this app are first of all that the idea is genius.  You can stream high quality audio or videos off of YouTube and you can play music in the background even while the screen is asleep.  You can also stop when a call comes in and then resume when the call is over.

There are a few cons, but that is true of any app that you use these days.  The first is that you have to manually create and manage play lists instead of having a more automatic function.  You also don’t get artist or song information which is retarded, but that’s Youtube for ya.  There is also no icon in notification window.

This app essentially creates a free music player using the vast numbers of videos on Youtube that are specific to artists and music.  You can search for your favorite artist or song title and this app will find the correct song and play a high quality version of it if it s available.  The app can automatically create playlists or shuffle the music or play the music at a completely random level.

As you can see this music app is very useful for the person that is sick of Pandora, Slacker, or Last FM.  This is a great replacement app for those apps and allows you to see the music videos if you wish.
